By 1948, more than 700.000 Palestinians became refugees after the ethnic cleansing of Historical Palestine which destroyed about 531 Palestinian villages and towns in order to establish the state of Israel. These refugees are still living in more than 75 camps in West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, waiting the their right of return according to the UN Resolution (194).
